About Lily
I have a love for learning that I want to pass on to others! I went to a state school and have always been self-motivated as no one in my family has an educational background or has been to university. I want to pass on my passion by helping students get to grips with writing effectively and persuasively.
I have just finished a law degree- achieving a first class. I am going on to do the Bar course in September (which is the training to become a Barrister!) Therefore, English and writing at a high quality is a key part of my life.
On top of this, I achieved a 9 (A**) in English Language at GCSE level.
I work part time at a Nursery and therefore have full DBS clearance (and an extremely friendly personality!)

I am keen to work through templates for your essay structures in the planning stages and explain how they can be made most effective.
Additionally, I can talk you through how to incorporate academic research, facts and literature to support your arguments.
I am confident in my persuasive writing skills and will pass on the tips of how to create an effective piece of work in this manner.
If you are at the final stages of essay writing, I am happy to proof read and talk through simple ways to boost your essay marks by making tweaks that make a real difference!
In regards to CV writing, I am able to talk through how to make them eye catching yet professional. This is based on my own successful experience, proven by receiving a scholarship from the Inns of Court to fund studying the Bar course. Additionally, I will go through how to make them concise yet informative so that prospective employers can quickly see why you are the ideal candidate.

Lily is an extremely motivated and dedicated individual. I have worked closely alongside Lily and she never fails to listen carefully and approaches everything with a can-do attitude.
Me and Lily entered a mooting competition in our 2nd year of uni together, which we won. She was so supportive and came up with amazing ideas!
She used this experience to help others, by volunteering as the Mistress of the Moots. This meant we provided opportunities to over 100 students and as part of this role we judged the rounds and provided students with valuable feedback.Lily is an exemplary professional, she draws from her own academic excellence and planning skills to create top level bespoke lessons for her students.
