About Teresa

My students tell me that I am always positive, that I am kind and supportive, and that I make their lessons enjoyable. I enjoy teaching so much and look upon each lesson as a progression to a learning goal. I like my students to feel that they are making real progress. I feel that my varied life experience, including working as a lawyer, helps me to have a wide cultural perspective. I've been a student abroad, I've worked in business, and I have taught refugees. I welcome every student to my online classroom and treat everyone with respect. I look forward to helping you with your English! Tell me your goals and let's get started!

About the lesson

My lessons are 50 minutes long and are tailored to the student, using a mixture of online resources. I like my classes to be fun, so that my students enjoy learning, but I also emphasise grammar and pronunciation. I am CELTA trained and have experience with all levels from beginners to advanced, including business English. As a qualified lawyer, I can also teach legal English.
