About Renee
Hello! I am Renee, and I am dedicated to helping my students pass their course. I decided to tutor a few years ago because I love helping people, and explaining difficult concepts. Every student is different, and requires different techniques to help them learn better, which I am happy to decipher and provide!
I am currently a student double majoring in Forensic Science and Chemistry (with a minor in criminal justice).
My highlight courses: General, analytical, and organic chemistries, introductory research to chemistry, calculus 1 and 2, biological statistics, calculus based physics, and more! I am completely comfortable teaching any grade level, and any chemistry or mathematics course!

My teaching style is student driven. I hate to waste anyone’s time, so I encourage my students to make stars next to their notes during lectures on things they don’t understand (and especially to have a list of homework problems they are not understanding). Then, as I work through these things, I can easily decipher the major concept they are not understanding. I then explain it, in plain and simple ways, and relate the subject to easier ones with analogies! I find that every student is different, so after a few sessions I can better understand how the student learns best, and I adapt to their style of learning (audio, visual, etc).
