About Priya

I graduated high school as salutatorian of my class, a National Merit Scholar, National AP Scholar, and Hall of Fame in Science inductee. I competed in mathematics competitions, and won over 20 prizes at the regional, state, and national levels. I have also competed and won multiple state and national level essay/oratorical competitions throughout my high school and college years. For higher studies, I enrolled in a prestigious Seven-Year Accelerated Program in Liberal Arts/Medical Education (BA/MD) at Boston University as a Presidential Scholar during my undergraduate years and a Dean’s Scholar during medical school.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student. I work with students of all ages (elementary school to college) and skill levels (school work to competition level).

(1) SAT: We will build a custom schedule with lessons, practice problems, and assessments.
(2) School subjects: Tutoring sessions can range from lessons regarding specific material to quizzing on already learned material.
(3) Essay writing: We will create a rough draft, explore techniques to improve your writing overall, and work sentence by sentence to create the perfect essay.
(4) College or medical school preparation/mentorship: We'll discuss all areas of the application and look at resources, activities, and competitions to build you into a competitive applicant.

Perfect! It has been a month since Priya has been in our lives, and there has been a noticeable change that her teachers can see in my daughter's math work. My daughter is eleven, with a learning disability, and Priya is extremely patient with her. My daughter's confidence is noticeable and she no longer dreads her math homework. I have high hopes that if this has happened in just a month I know my daughter will continue to excel. Thank you so much Priya for taking us on and for who you are!

Priya is super knowledgeable. She helped identify solutions and workarounds to areas I continually struggled with. Can’t stress enough how helpful and emphatic she is as a tutor. I feel so much more confident after working with her.
