Lesson Plan for English Tutoring: Academic Essay Writing, Résumé Preparation, and Creative Writing Assignments—the objective is to enhance the writing skills of college students, particularly in academic essay writing, résumé preparation, and creative writing assignments. This lesson plan aims to develop their proficiency in word usage, sentence structure, cohesiveness, subject comprehension, and writing fluidity.

Below is a structured plan for a writing lesson:

Introduction
At the beginning of the lesson, I'll greet my student(s), introduce the objectives, provide an overview of writing prompts and guides, and stress the significance of solid writing skills in academic and professional settings.

Word Usage and Sentence Structure
I'll stress the importance of using appropriate vocabulary and sentence structure in assignments, including academic essays, resume preparation, and creative writing. Expanding one's vocabulary is necessary to emphasize the significance of word variety and sentence structure to avoid monotony in writing and provide examples. Furthermore, practicing appropriate vocabulary and sentence structure for each assignment is essential, and it just might be the key to your success when turning in your assignments.

Cohesiveness and Subject Comprehension
In assignments, we'll discuss the importance of a clear and cohesive argument or narrative, and examples of good and bad transitions between paragraphs and ideas will be discussed. I'll encourage my student(s) to practice this skill through writing prompts for each assignment.

Writing Fluidity
The importance of a smooth and fluid writing style and examples of good and bad flow in writing will be discussed. Students are encouraged to practice developing this skill with writing prompts for each assignment.

Evaluation
The lesson involves evaluating students' written assignments with writing rubrics, providing feedback on areas of improvement and strength, and discussing further ways to develop writing skills. The conclusion summarizes key points, encourages students to practice writing skills, seek feedback, and thanks them for participating.

Overall, this lesson plan focuses on developing the writing skills of college students by enhancing their proficiency in word usage, sentence structure, cohesiveness, subject comprehension, and writing fluidity. By providing examples, writing prompts, and evaluation, the students can practice and improve their writing skills in academic essay writing, résumé preparation, and creative writing assignments.
