About Helia

With over two years of experience teaching Math and Physics at an Academy for Mathematics & English, I have worked with students aged 7 to 17 across different academic levels. I maintain high professional standards while creating a positive and motivating learning environment.
My approach combines structure with approachability. Lessons are focused and goal-oriented, yet interactive and engaging, encouraging students to think actively rather than passively absorb information. I value strong, respectful relationships with my students, which helps them feel comfortable asking questions and staying confident. This balance of discipline and energy allows students to improve academically while genuinely enjoying the learning process :)

About the lesson

Lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s academic level (ages 7–17). With over two years of experience teaching Math and Physics at an Academy for Mathematics & English, sessions focus on building strong conceptual foundations rather than memorization.
Each lesson typically includes targeted review, step-by-step concept breakdown, guided practice, and exam-style problem solving to strengthen analytical thinking. Updated teaching strategies, visual explanations, active recall, and structured practice techniques are used to maximize retention and performance.
What sets these lessons apart is the balance between discipline and engagement: maintaining focus while ensuring sessions are interactive, clear, and intellectually stimulating. Emphasis is placed on measurable progress, confidence building, and long-term academic improvement.
