About Tea
I have completed the IB Diploma in May 2018 and have scored 43 points overall.
I have obtained a 7 in both English Language and Literature (82%) and Spanish (92%), and a 6 (missed a 7 by one mark) in History, all of which I took at a Higher Level. I was awarded academic prizes for being the best student in class for mentioned subjects for both years of the IB.
I have experience in helping my peers at my old Sixth Form

Hi! I am a recent IB graduate currently studying at LSE. I understand the IB can get very stressful and am here to make it that much easier by helping you perform to the best of your abilities.
I am offering lessons for the following topics:
IB Spanish Ab-Initio.
IB English Language and Literature
(literature lessons are limited to The Crucible, The Burial at Thebes, essay writing skills and IOC prep )
IB SL History: P1 move to global war, P2 Single-party states (Mussolini, Peron, Castro, Mao), Cold War
IB HL History (P3): American Civil War, Great Depression in the USA, FDR and the New Deal, post WW2 American Presidents (1945-1979) - focus on domestic policy
As a recent IB graduate I am well familiar with the challenges of the Diploma programme and the assessment requirements and am therefore able to deliver a tutoring lesson which is sure to equip you with knowledge that will help you hit all the criteria examiners are looking for.
Some of my methods include: discussing old essay questions, writing out essay plans and doing timed essays as well as doing old papers.
For Spanish, I believe language learning is best facilitated through spending half of a lesson on learning or solidifying grammar knowledge, and the other half either on building vocab through activities such as reading articles, debates, and games.
I believe finding an approach to studying that you will enjoy the most is crucial. Through our lessons, I will teach you the best study methods for your way of learning which will equip you with transferable skills you can use in the future. We will also agree on any additional tasks that will supplement your studies in Sixth Form and our lessons for best results. My ultimate goal is seeing you succeed and achieve the grades you need to get into university!
