About Spencer
I am a former engineering physics student at Mcmaster University. I graduated high school with straight 90s across all my math and physics courses. In addition to this, I already have 2 years experience tutoring, and 6+ years experience working with kids in various other jobs.

I like approach things from a theoretical level, ensuring that students understand why something works the way it does instead of just learning to solve a bunch equations. To this end I often like to bring up material from later courses so that the student has a firm grasp and gets the full picture and not just what is strictly relevant to the specific problem at hand.
As for class structure, I usually like the students to pick out problems or concepts they don't understand and then we break it down and eventually go through similar ones so that they feel completely confident with the material
