About Isidoro

I am currently a freelance criminal justice journalist with regular and ongoing contracted story assignments. My work is published in The Crime Report, a national criminal justice news source, the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, and WNY/Gothamist. I received two awards for my academic achievements and nonfiction writing while pursuing my degree in English at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where I graduated with honors in 2017. In 2021, I was awarded a fellowship from the National Press Club for a three-part story on racism in policing.

About the lesson

I provide tutelage grounded in my own academic and professional work experience. I am a hands-on instructor who enjoys helping writers express their ideas and opinions clearly and concisely for a wide audience. I will guide and instruct you on any project or assignment, from start to finish. My goal is to make sure that you not only produce a quality outcome that meets whatever specifications you may have, but that also teaches you the writing habits and tools you'll need to succeed in the future.
