About Liza
I hold a B.A. in French Studies and Linguistics and bring 12 years of teaching experience working with students of varied backgrounds. My academic training helps me explain language structures clearly while highlighting cultural context and practical usage. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace and goals, ensuring progress feels steady and rewarding. Creating a supportive learning environment is central to my work. Outside teaching, I stay connected to French through reading, cultural research, and conversation practice. Teaching French is rewarding because I see learners gain confidence and independence. Helping students communicate naturally is deeply fulfilling.

My French lessons help students build strong foundations while developing confidence in real-life communication. I focus on grammar fundamentals, verb conjugation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and everyday vocabulary. Lessons are structured yet relaxed, allowing learners to absorb new concepts without feeling overwhelmed. I use dialogues, cultural examples, visual aids, and repetition to make learning clear and memorable.
Lessons are adapted to the learner’s experience level. Beginners focus on essential grammar, pronunciation, and simple conversations. Intermediate students improve fluency, accuracy, and understanding of idiomatic expressions. Advanced learners refine complex sentence structures, cultural nuance, and confident discussion. Regular feedback ensures steady progress and motivation.
French lessons also open doors to cultural understanding. Students gain confidence expressing themselves and engaging with French-speaking environments. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable and capable using French naturally.
