About Isabelle
I am a French native (from Aix-en-Provence) who has lived and studied in 4 different countries. I have 3 Bachelor's degrees (from England, Germany and France) and 2 Master's degrees (from France and the US). French is my first language but I am also fluent in English and German. I have some knowledge of Italian and Russian so a good understanding of what it takes to learn languages. I am one of the founders of the French American School of Denver and have a good understanding of the curriculum of the French Ministry of Education. I partner with my students to ensure they meet their goals and support them to ensure their success.

I adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each student and their level so the first lesson will typically be about determining your level and what your needs and goals are. Once understood, I put a plan together with my student to ensure we address all the needs identified (including grammar, reading, listening and comprehension, conversation, writing). A typical lesson plan will include some reading, some conversation, some key grammatical concepts and some writing but it all depends on the level as I support students from elementary levels through college. I have some experience teaching the DELF (A2 and B1).
