About Juliette
I am a French student, I studied psychology and now applying for a doctorate. I have experience in teaching as I was a Teaching and Learning Assistant in a SEN department in a secondary school, I was supporting students in lessons and in private sessions educationally and emotionally. I was also running clubs such as French club, girls' club, dance club, and art and counselling club. I would like to help students who struggle with French as I know it is a very difficult language to learn, and it is easier with a native speaker.

I usually start with what the students learnt at school and what they struggle with. Then we go through the difficult parts of the lessons and try to make them easier with listening tasks or some speaking games. I also like to do a bit of reading to find new words, dictation for the writing, and a bit of a conversation moment for the speaking. My lessons can go from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on preferences. I was a teaching and learning assistant in a SEN department for two years and was helping students from year 7 till GCSE (year 11) with French in lessons and in small clubs (reading, writing, speaking and listening). The lessons would be adapted for students in year 7 to GCSE and A-Levels.
