About Dominic
I have been teaching English and University Academic Study Skills to students of all ages, nationalities and levels for many years.
I love my work and I love to help students learn and improve the essential skills required to succeed in their academic assignments. I focus on giving students 'CONFIDENCE' in their own abilities.
Since 2013, I was employed as a high-level module teacher and manager of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses at the University of East Anglia, UK. Foundation, Undergraduate and Pre-Masters courses in addition to English support for home and international students.
I am an experienced teacher and I care about my students. I am patient and understand the cultural and academic differences many students experience when they arrive in the UK. All students work at different paces and in different ways. That is why it is so important to have the best available support if you need additional help to understand your coursework.
During my years at the university, I have taught thousands of international and home students from many different cultures and varied academic backgrounds. I have helped students from countries such as:
China, Japan, S.Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, South and Central America, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, African states such as Nigeria, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Libya, Egypt, South America, Europe and many more!
I have tutored thousands of students over the years in university departments such as Computing Science, Business and Humanities.
I hope you will consider me when seeking help for your academic journey.
