About Lin
Hi! My name is Lin, and I’m passionate about languages, culture, and helping others communicate with confidence. I grew up speaking Chinese and have always enjoyed sharing my language with people from different backgrounds. Teaching Chinese allows me to connect with students around the world and see their progress firsthand, which is incredibly rewarding. I believe learning a new language should be fun, meaningful, and empowering—and that’s exactly the kind of experience I aim to create in my classes.

My approach to tutoring focuses on creating a relaxed and engaging environment where students feel confident to practice and make mistakes. I use a mix of conversation practice, real-life scenarios, multimedia resources, and structured grammar explanations to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. Each class typically lasts 50 to 60 minutes, allowing enough time for review, new material, and practice.
I have experience teaching students of different ages and backgrounds, from young children to adults, and I tailor each lesson to suit individual needs and learning styles. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or just want to improve your everyday communication skills in Chinese, my lessons are designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace.
