Hi! My name is Lau, and I’m a friendly and dedicated college student who is passionate about helping others improve their English. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, so my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can learn without feeling nervous or embarrassed about making mistakes.
I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each student feel more confident in their English skills. I’ll tailor our lessons to your level, interests, and personal goals so that every lesson is useful and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching English is friendly, patient, and focused on making students feel comfortable speaking. I believe the best way to learn a language is through conversation and practice, so I encourage students to speak as much as possible while I help them improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a short conversation or warm up so I can understand the student’s goals and identify areas they would like to improve. We then focus on a specific topic or skill through conversation, examples, and interactive activities. At the end of the lesson, I review what we worked on and provide helpful feedback and new words or phrases the student can practice.
What sets me apart is that I am a college student myself, so I understand what it is like to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in a new skill. I want my lessons to feel more like a comfortable conversation with someone who genuinely wants to help you improve rather than a traditional classroom.
My lessons are suitable for students who want to improve their everyday English, conversation skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and speaking confidence. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, I can adapt lessons to your level, interests, and personal goals.
