My Tutoring Approach
1. Methodology & Techniques:
Conversation-First: I focus on real-life English—no boring textbooks! We’ll practice through chats, role-plays (e.g., ordering food, job interviews), and fun topics you care about.
Mistakes = Progress: I create a no-stress zone where errors are welcome (that’s how we learn!).
Visual & Practical: I use memes, short videos, and everyday examples (like texting slang or song lyrics) to make lessons stick.
2. Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up (5-10 mins): Casual chat (e.g., “What’s your favorite movie?”) to get comfortable.
Skill Focus (20 mins): Target one need (e.g., grammar for emails, pronunciation practice).
Practice Game (15 mins): Flashcards, storytelling, or mock scenarios (like travel dialogues).
Feedback & Next Steps (5 mins): Recap wins + 1-2 goals for next time.
3. What Sets Me Apart:
I’m NOT a formal teacher—that means no pressure, just patience and adaptability.
Budget-Friendly: As a non-professional, I keep rates low for students who need flexibility.
Culture + Language: I weave in cultural tips (e.g., idioms, humor) so you sound natural, not textbook-perfect.
4. Who Lessons Are For:
Beginners/Intermediate teens or adults who want to:
Speak confidently in daily life (travel, friends, work).
Fix grammar/writing for school or social media.
Understand movies, music, and internet slang.
NOT for: Advanced academics (e.g., IELTS, university essays).
