About Andjela
Hi! I’m a second-year Design Engineering student at Imperial College London, with a burning passion for numbers and computing! I have several years of tutoring experience across GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics, and I really enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that can initially seem difficult or intimidating. My lessons focus on understanding concepts properly, developing problem-solving skills and improving exam technique, rather than simply memorising methods. I also offer support with STEM university applications and interview preparation.

Providing a friendly and non-judgemental environment is essential for students to make the most of my sessions. This is something that I strive to do every second as it is my utmost priority to make students feel seen, and simultaneously boost their grades to their maximum potential!
My approach is theory, practice, consolidation (typically through homework). I try to weave practice into theory as it is vital that students stay engaged throughout the session to see progress - simply talking at the student has a very low success rate, and I feel that here is where schools may lack.
Together, we can crunch those grades and get you to your academic goals - whatever they may be!!! My job as the tutor is to make the sky the limit with your academic opportunities :)
Here is a bit about my experiences...
At Ucademy, I tutored both A-Level and GCSE Maths & Physics remotely. This involved applying myself to ranging abilities, working overtime if a student needed extra support. I was also responsible for submitting students' monthly reports - detailing constructive feedback and improvements to students' parents. During my time here, I leveraged whiteboard platforms such as Miro and OneNote to enhance remote teaching efficiency!
During Sixth Form, I tutored GCSE STEM subjects, 11+, and English at Links Tuition. Here, I worked face to face with students from 11 years of age to 18. Similarly to Ucademy, I worked with a range of abilities and set bespoke homeworks based on the student's weaknesses. I fostered a friendly environment where parents commended me for my patience and confidence when explaining complex concepts.
Exam boards and subjects I cover...
I can cover pretty much anything you may throw at me for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics! This includes exam boards Edexcel, AQA, OCR, Cambridge, WJEC.
Same goes for GCSE and A-Level Physics ;)
