About Sylvie
Bonjour! My name is Sylvie, I’m a native French speaker passionate about languages, culture, and teaching. I’ve taught more than 30 students, from kids to adults and seniors, always adapting my approach to each learner. I am an enthusiastic person, and love creating a relaxed environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn French. Outside of teaching, I enjoy yoga and learning foreign languages too!

I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, goals, and interests. With adults, I focus on building fluency and confidence through conversation, and some exercises. We can focus on everyday discussions for real-life practice or follow a structured learning plan. With kids, lessons are playful and creative, using games, songs, and stories to make learning natural and fun. I am a dynamic, positive, and encouraging teacher who loves seeing my students enjoy learning French as much as I love teaching it.
