About Nafisa

Hi! I’m a friendly, patient and enthusiastic sixth-form student studying A-level English Literature. I would love to help younger students improve their English skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

I enjoy reading, writing and exploring language, and I want to share that interest with primary school children. I believe every child learns differently, so I aim to make lessons enjoyable, engaging and suited to each pupil’s individual needs.

I want to help children build confidence, develop their creativity and feel proud of their progress. I am particularly interested in helping pupils strengthen their reading, grammar and writing skills while preparing for their SATs.

My goal is to make learning English a positive experience where children feel comfortable asking questions, practising new skills and discovering their potential.

English

My English lessons are designed to help primary school children in Years 3–6 improve their confidence and develop their English skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

I can help with reading comprehension, spelling, punctuation, grammar, vocabulary and creative writing. I also aim to support children preparing for their SATs through practice questions, exam-style exercises and timed activities to help them become more comfortable working within time limits.

My lessons will be adapted to each child’s needs and learning pace. I will focus on explaining topics clearly, practising skills together and identifying areas where they can improve. For creative writing, we can explore story planning, descriptive language, interesting vocabulary and sentence structure.

As a sixth-form student studying A-level English Literature, I understand the importance of building strong English foundations. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, encourage progress and help each child feel more confident in their abilities.
