About Amy
Having recently sat both my GCSE and A-Level Maths exams, I completely understand the pressure, stress, and challenges that GCSE exams can bring. Having recently learnt the GCSE curriculum myself and having further explored the concepts at A-Level, I understand how topics can be broken down into simple, understandable explanations and how to best prepare for the exams.
Helping students overcome their struggles with GCSE maths is a true passion of mine, as I understand exactly how it feels to struggle with it and I love assisting students to overcome these challenges as I once did. I have tutored a range of students within the last 10 months ranging from age 6 up to age 16, providing me with experience in tutoring different learning styles and abilities.

Having sat my GCSE exams in 2024, I know what it takes to best prepare and succeed in them. My lessons aim to break down complex mathematical topics into clear, simple explanations before diving into exam-style questions. This approach ensures that students both understand the underlying mathematical principles and prepare for the exact style of questions which they will face in their upcoming exams
