About Bhavya
My name is Bhavya, and I come from a simple and lovable middle-class family. Teaching has always been close to my heart because my father is a teacher himself, and I grew up watching him explain maths with patience and clarity. From a very young age, I admired the way he made learning enjoyable, and it naturally inspired me to follow the same path. Now, as I pursue my Master’s degree at the University of Glasgow, I have the wonderful opportunity to share that same love for teaching with others. With my background, I understand both the challenges and the beauty of learning maths, and I am committed to making lessons approachable, supportive, and inspiring. For me, teaching is not just about solving equations—it’s about building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and helping students realise that numbers can tell fascinating stories when explained the right way. Doing this allows me to combine my lifelong passion with the values I’ve grown up with, making tutoring not just a task but something I truly enjoy

My approach to tutoring is simple: I believe that even the most complex ideas can be broken down into clear, easy steps that actually make sense. I like to keep lessons interactive, patient, and filled with examples that connect maths to real-life situations, so students feel confident rather than overwhelmed. A typical lesson lasts around one hour, but I adjust depending on the student’s pace and needs. I explain topics in different ways until the idea finally clicks. My goal is to make students realise that maths isn’t about memorising formulae—it’s about understanding patterns and problem-solving in a fun way. I offer lessons for students of all ages and levels, whether you’re learning the basics, preparing for exams, or just trying to feel more confident with numbers. With me, maths becomes less about fear and more about discovery.
