About Alena
As a native English speaker originally from England, I bring years of teaching experience and a TEFL certification to my personalized classes. Having lived in Mexico for many years, I understand the unique challenges of learning English as a second language and tailor my lessons to meet each student's specific needs. My focus is on practical communication, cultural understanding, and building confidence in real-life situations. Whether you're looking to improve your conversational skills, prepare for exams, or excel in professional settings, my goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment that helps you achieve your language goals.

My classes will be different because I combine my experience as a native English speaker, my certified TEFL training, and my deep knowledge of Mexican culture after years of living here. This allows me to:
-Understand the specific challenges that Mexican students face when learning English, adapting your methodology to overcome these barriers.
-Prioritize conversation and practical use of English so that my students gain confidence in real-life situations.
-Integrate creative, relevant activities focused on each student's individual goals.
-Offer a relaxed and motivating environment that encourages learning without pressure.
In addition, my experience as a therapist can help you identify emotional needs or blockages that could influence learning, which makes me unique in teaching.
