About Tam-An
I am a fulltime engineer and I have been tutoring for the past 5 years. I have taught students from ages 4 - 16 in a private tutoring institution and 5 other students personally outside of that.
I graduated high school in 2015 with an ATAR of 99.05, a merit in Physics and impressive scores in Maths.
I graduated from my Civil and Structural Engineering degree with second class Honours and a GPA > 6.
I have achieved these results by striving to understand the principles behind concepts and applying that knowledge in different situations.

My teaching method is dependent on what style works best for my student. Everyone learns differently and I strive to cater that. I have a strong belief in learning to understand the concepts and not simply memorising formulas from textbooks.
The lesson structure will depend on the student's situation and what they want to improve on. For example, if the student wants to improve grades at school, we will focus on subjects at school and maximizing grades there by going through the content at their pace.
