About Natalie
Hi! I’m Natalie. :)
I am 19 years old and I grew up in Germany, completed my German Abitur with a focus on advanced math after studying at a German gymnasium for 8 years, and speak English, German, and Czech fluently.
Having navigated the school system myself, I know how easily math can feel overwhelming. I have practical experience tutoring students in different subjects and I love helping young learners build confidence. My goal is to make math approachable, stress-free, and easy to understand so students can boost their grades without the anxiety. :)

Math doesn’t have to be confusing or stressful! I specialize in teaching foundational math to elementary and middle school students (grades 1-7). Because I bring a strong background from my German high school math track, I know how to break down core concepts into simple, step-by-step methods that actually make sense (by using different colors or examples to make it easier to understand :))
What I can cover in my tutoring lessons:
- Fractions, decimals & percentages: Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions; Converting easily between fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Pre-algebra & simple equations: Understanding variables; Solving basic equations step-by-step (e.g. 2x=4, 3x+5=11, and more…); Simplifying basic expressions
- Basic geometry: Identifying shapes & their properties; Calculating perimeter & basic area; Understanding basic angles & geometric rules
- Core skills: Word problems (learning how to translate English text into simple equations)
