About Arman
Hello everyone, I am Arman, a 4th year chemistry student at the University of Birmingham from Kazakhstan. I have loved and enjoyed chemistry since the age of 13, one of my first experiences being demonstrating 2 experiments in a school assembly: a foam from hydrogen peroxide and manganese dioxide. I then went on to take part in a chemistry olympiad of a national level and secured 3rd place as an 8th grader. For the next 3 years, I won 3 silver medals at a provincial competition. Now I want to become a researcher and during my time at uni I had discovered that teaching is my passion and I want to help chemistry enthusiasts with achieving success in the future. I hope I will be helpful to students.

When it comes to lessons, I encourage students to be interactive, so I use game-styled approach as part of learning. I also record pre-lecture videos to consolidate students' understanding. My lessons are usually 1 hour long.
I had previously taught olympiad-level chemistry to children from Kazakhstan and helped my friend to be a tutor in his start-up company. I intend to teach GCSE level and higher.
