About Shreya
Hi, I'm Shreya! I'm a future trainee solicitor at a Magic Circle law firm with over five years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I have passed my SQE 1 examinations. I specialise in helping students with university admissions, training contract applications, essay technique and SQE 1. I’ve worked as a paralegal for two years at DLA Piper and completed vacation schemes at Cleary Gottlieb, Travers Smith and Trowers & Hamlins. I’m able to give real, practical insights into legal applications — from both an international and UK perspective — so that my students can make confident, informed decisions about their future.
I applied to a range of universities, sat the LNAT, completed the Cambridge Law Test, and got through the Cambridge interview. I achieved a First Class degree at Durham University, achieved a first class grade in my Dissertation and have helped students do the same. I have supported students with their university applications, helping them achieve spots at their dream universities. Since then, I’ve spent years supporting students with their university and law firm applications, as well as law undergraduate studies.
I received a lot of support from the law community during my own application process, and I’ll always be grateful for that — it’s what inspires me to help others now.

I support students applying to university with personal statement reviews that include line-by-line, actionable feedback, guidance on selecting universities and courses, as well as mock interviews and tailored interview preparation. For those doing law at university, I offer essay, problem question and dissertation tutoring and detailed reviews - having achieved a first class - I can help you with pushing your work up to a first class.
For those aiming for a career in law, I offer mentoring around training contracts. This includes guidance on choosing the right firms, psychometric tests, detailed application reviews with specific feedback, CV and cover letter reviews, and mock interviews with structured feedback.
Sessions are usually an hour long, but I’m flexible depending on your goals for each lesson. My approach is always tailored to the individual needs of each student, never vague or generic! I believe in open, friendly communication - treat me like a companion to your education / applications. I focus on specific, practical guidance, with an emphasis on working smarter. I’m also open about my own experiences and take time to support students with more "invisible" challenges that often arise during applications, such as cultural differences, confidence and personality.
