About Anastasia

I’m a Neuroscience student at the University of Warwick with three years of teaching experience. During this time, I’ve worked with students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, including students whose first language is not English.

I’m patient, approachable and used to explaining difficult topics in a clear and simple way. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style and pace to suit each individual.

Outside of university, I’m also interested in healthcare and medicine, which is one of the reasons I particularly enjoy teaching Biology.

I offer friendly and supportive tutoring in GCSE and AS Level Maths and Biology. I know that some topics can feel confusing at first, so I always try to explain things in a simple and clear way and take lessons at a pace that works for each student.
Lessons can be tailored for Edexcel, AQA or OCR exam board.

My lessons can focus on specific topics a student is struggling with, general revision, homework support or exam preparation. I like to use practice questions and past-paper style questions to help students understand how to apply their knowledge and improve their exam technique.

I achieved A- A* grades in Maths and Biology at both GCSE and AS-level and I am now studying Neuroscience at the University of Warwick.
My aim is to make lessons comfortable and encouraging, so students feel confident asking questions and can gradually build both their understanding and confidence in the subject.
