About Matisse
Hey there! Current Biomedical Science & Public Health student as well as a Teaching Assistant and a Science Teacher! In my own experience, the IB can be overwhelming, with your EE, ToK, all those subjects! I'm here to help make your Bio classes a little more streamlined. I approach my sessions with clear learning goals: exam-question prep, genetics, MolBio or even something as specific as the electron transport chain. Whatever your objective, we can achieve it!

IB Biology (HL/SL) tutoring sessions available. My approach is always tailored to my student, taking into account their current strengths and academic goals, special needs and/or other desires in the biology world. All previous students have achieved above or at predicted grades. I have worked with high achieving students who wanted to push further, SEN students who needed extra support and students who missed school due to illness/unforeseen circumstances. My session structure often involves problem solving, past paper questions, reviews, teaching new material and tying the science to the real world. My sessions are interactive and develop the student's critical thinking both in an academic sense but also in a general way. My sessions are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Session focus, length and structure can be discussed further and personalised to the student's need.
