About Lucan
I’m a dedicated and friendly maths tutor who wants to help students feel more confident in maths and achieve their goals. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and am currently predicted an A* in A-Level Maths. I know that maths can sometimes seem challenging, so I want to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. I enjoy helping others understand difficult topics and would love to share my knowledge, tips and exam techniques to help you succeed.

I’ll first identify what topics the student finds difficult and where they need the most support. From there, I’ll provide targeted questions and work through them step-by-step, helping them understand the topic rather than simply memorising answers. This allows each lesson to be tailored to the student and gives them plenty of practice to build their confidence.
