Syed was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand financial modeling and statistics. His teaching was clear and understandable, and his teaching goes beyond theory, helping you apply what he teaches to real-life situations.

I booked with Syed for my microeconomics class at University of Southern California. We had a series of discussions on topics in microeconomics. After completing discussion on topics, we practiced a few questions that were very helpful during the exam. Also, rather than rewording the question, he would ask it from a different perspective, so I would understand the actual concept and not just the specific problem. Definitely recommend.

Syed delivered an outstanding review of my essay, demonstrating both depth of knowledge and genuine engagement with the topic. His feedback was analytical, well-organised, and remarkably insightful. He did not simply point out weaknesses but carefully examined the logic of my arguments and highlighted where stronger links, clearer explanations, or deeper critical reflection were needed.

What I appreciated most was how specific and practical his recommendations were. Each comment was purposeful and directly connected to improving the academic quality of the work. He addressed structure, flow, conceptual clarity, and argument development in a way that made the next revision steps very clear and achievable.

His guidance elevated my essay significantly, both in terms of coherence and critical depth. I felt supported rather than criticised, and the revision process became much more focused and productive as a result. I would strongly recommend Syed to anyone seeking thorough, precise, and genuinely constructive academic feedback.

Syed provided an exceptionally detailed and thoughtful review of my essay. His feedback was thorough, structured, and highly constructive. He offered numerous concrete suggestions for strengthening the argument, improving clarity, refining structure, and deepening the critical analysis.
What stood out most was the level of precision in his comments. Rather than giving general feedback, he carefully identified specific areas for improvement and explained how they could be enhanced. The suggestions were actionable and academically rigorous, which made the revision process much clearer and more manageable.
His input significantly improved the overall quality of my work and helped me develop a more critical and coherent argument. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for detailed, high-quality academic feedback.

After tutoring with several online tutors, I find Mr.Syed an outstanding Educator who is not only proficient with the content but also knows how to deliver it effectively, so that students can understand and master that...

Dr. Syed is a great post-graduate professor who understands how to apply quantitative methodology employing the SPSS 26 statistical tool. I came on Superprof seeking a knowledgeable individual, preferably a professor who has worked with Phd students previously, and would understand what is expected at that level. Students at the post-graduate level need to locate someone who is not playing the guesting game and is providing the necessary assistance for the student to grow at this academic level. The tutor's knowledge becomes very significant, eliminating the need for a guessing game as to how the statistical analysis explains the answers from the survey instruments. He reminds me of some of my current professors. He asks you questions first and allows you to respond. If he sees that you are stuck, he will give a hint and give you an opportunity again to answer. If you don't know, he will be happy to assist. Everyone is treated as if they are in class; however, please take notes and follow directions. He is a phenomenal professor. You cannot ask for more. Even though I was nervous while troubleshooting survey research and estimation methods for my doctoral thesis, he managed to settle complex methodological issues.
I am looking forward to my next meeting, so I can learn more about the methodology and topics in statistics, as they apply to my dissertation. I would recommend Dr. Syed to anyone who needs a solid researcher and a professor who can teach you appropriately, tailor your meetings for your own assignment, and, more importantly, convey the statistical data in a manner in which comprehension can occur.

I would give Dr. Syed an overall rating of 5 out of 5.

Working with Syed has been immensely helpful.
I reached out for assistance with a personal project, and we've been working on wrangling data to prepare it for advanced regression analysis using Stata. His instruction has filled in the knowledge gaps I had left over from my econometrics courses, and it has been a great experience so far.

Syed is very knowledgeable about econometrics.
He started the lesson by explaining very clearly the concept of econometrics, and then dived deeper into the regression models. I have learned the materials but was never able to thoroughly understand them, but with his help, I'm confident interpreting the regression tables and their economic meanings. He threads all relevant concepts together, and they are finally connected and making sense. I highly recommend Syed even if you have a college degree in econometrics and want to deepen your understanding.

Syed did a great job at explaining regression modeling: how to specify a model, how to interpret the model, and how to further consolidate it. He is thoughtful, skilled at teaching and is knowledgeable.

Superb! Excellent opportunity to learn econometrics and the application, using the Stata package. Including other topics, I learned to use the panel data models, apply specification tests and interpret results. Syed is a technically competent person, who knows his subject and is able to communicate things very effectively. In addition to Econometrics, we had two sessions on my proposed thesis. He is an excellent resource!

Marvelous! A trustworthy and knowledgeable person. Syed paid full attention and his time to my proposed plan of research, with care and dedication. He is precise, competent, and impeccable. I am very grateful to him for making me survive in my dissertation.

Syed! I just want to say that you are a fantastic teacher, with knowledge and excellent communication. Your help in the application of quantitative methods and in Statistics means a lot for me.

I am more than happy with Syed's teaching. He has helped me a great deal with Research and in Econometrics. Syed is efficient and very easy to communicate with, which reflects upon his skills as a teacher. Highly recommended for research and quantitative modeling

Syed is passionate, competent and stable headed. Manages time and difficult situations ,effectively. Highly recommended for trouble shooting as part of research/ thesis or in domain of quantitative modelling.

Syed has strong grasp on applied model building, competing research designs and on methodological paradigms. He can delicately choose suitable methodology, with a reasonable understanding of efficacy of tools as well as limitations of a said method. He is naturally inclined to use quantitative modeling skills in his coaching and thesis supervision experience. Much recommended.

Passionate and Superb! Syed is a competent teacher with diversity and depth. I managed to grasp many technical concepts in domain of advanced regression. Highly recommended for quantitative methods and economics courses!

An incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and so calm person! So much support I received along the way and with positive feedback which gave me the confidence that no matter how difficult some courses are, it goes with right help. I sought help in quantitative methods to ensure my proficiency. Everything just seems so simple when right person helps and explain it. This right person was Syed.

I am so glad and grateful for Syed's help and teaching. He has been amazing all they way with tutoring me in Advanced Microeconomics, online. I am keeping your contact information for the future and I will surely take contact next time, when adressing my proposed thesis on Application of the Antitrust legislation. It'a been a pleasure working with you!

Utrolig dyktik. Har mye kunnskap og forklarer veldig bra.

Perfekt! Utmerket ! Syed er en hyggelig person, med mye erfaring og evne til å forenkle tekniske konsepter. Mye anbefalt

Comments from Michael Koiki
Proficient and dependable! Syed is an outstanding researcher as well as an excellent mentor with lots of precision and patience in his coaching and in providing the feedback. I found him to be an extremely professional person with quality knowledge, immense proficiency in research skills and untiring nature. From adjusting my original research notions into well-structured research hypothesis, to structuring research design and in choosing quantitative tools to suit research needs, he has been superb. Despite the fact that I spent quite some time while working on my thesis, I was surprised to see how the academic value of my dissertation improved within a short frame of time, because of his continual feedback. With his guidance I was able to experiment Autoregressive distributed lag ARDL models, Autoregressive Moving average ARMA models as well as Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity ARCH models, as part of my dissertation. It has been an amazing lesson experience and I am truly over the moon with the quality of this thesis. I couldn’t have done it without you; I wish you and your family all the best to in these times.
I would highly recommend Syed, to students of research methods, quantitative modeling and to beginner’s in research who are in search of a mentor who will increase their capabilities drastically over a short space of time.

I benefited from Syed in 'Advanced Regression analysis' and then while preparing for Research proposal of master's dissertation. He has excellent command and strong foresight in furnishing research designs, in assessing academic worth of methodological choices, and how to advance rather naive research notions into a well-structured hypothesis. He has published in rather diversified and interdisciplinary domains of social sciences and humanities.

Much recommended for beginner's in research and for persons who are struggling with quantitative underpinnings of research designs.

Fabulous and excellent in coaching and problem solving skills, specifically in research and quantitative methods! Dedicated and able to manage things, quickly!

He provides unparalleled professional support, guidance and problem-solving assistance. There is no doubt that his professional competence is at a very high level, and he is conscientious and orderly, and I experienced him as genuinely committed to desiring and doing his utmost to help me become as good as possible. He responded quickly to all my inquiries, which made progress in my work on the subject. He has commendable writing expression.

I recommend beginners in research and students of quantitative methods to seek guidance from Syed

Tough planner, organized and carries good communication skills. I enjoyed his online coaching and discussion sessions. He carries a good combination of quantitative, analytical and presentation skills. Syed has an excellent command in disciplines of Research Methods and Quantitative modelling. He has loads of experience as researcher, as thesis supervisor and as referee.

Perfect! I can absolutely recommend Syed to students who are struggling with quantitative methods and statistics (or just if you want to improve expertise in applied aspects of quantitative skills). He is a really good teacher and explains relatively complex quantitative things using illustrations and in an easy manner. I have learned a lot from the tutoring with him.
