Nursing has always been my passion. I did so well in Nursing school because for the first time in my life, I ENJOYED studying! It sounds silly, but I couldn’t get enough information in this brain of mine! I wanted to know everything because nursing fascinated me. I always had my huge book bag full of nursing books so I could squeeze in studying whenever and wherever possible; I was known to have my NCLEX review & Pharmacology manual next to me at my Receptionist job at the hair salon! Oh, that and about 300 notecards to quiz myself even more! That is a tip- Notecards are incredible studying tools (and to bring to clinicals!) and I must have made 10,000+ during those years. It was insane but SO helpful for me! All the hard work paid off because I graduated at the top of my class in 2012 at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois. Graduating was my proudest moment to date. Well… besides getting married and having children that is (of course!)!! I know I can help you on your journey through Nursing School… or even with your prereqs (Like the oh so famous but scary Anatomy & Physiology!!)!! I’m sure my passion for everything Nursing will translate to you and we can have a little fun along the road! Studying doesn’t have to be boring or painful-I promise I actually enjoyed it!
