About Ugochi
I am a psychologist by training. I struggled as a child with Numeracy and Science, in retrospect, I was a visual learner and my teachers were not exactly equipped to identify this and teach me accordingly.
This was what made me decide to go into teaching. I wanted to be the teacher I wish I had and make learning easy for students who are struggling.
I enjoy making the learning experience fun, memorable and stress-free for students.

I have a master's degree in Child Mental Health and started off my career working with children who have learning disorders. This has gone a long way in shaping my teaching methodology.
My lessons are always visual-based as I believe children remember lessons better if they see videos or listen to songs.
My lessons are usually 45 minutes long as I lay more emphasis on the efficiency of the lessons than the length of teaching time.
My specialty is grade school-aged children from grades 3-6. Children 7-11 years fall into this category.
