About Paulomi
I have strong experience and knowledge in these fields as I am currently working as a civil engineer in the field of renewables and previously completed my Masters in Civil Engineering at the University of Warwick. Moreover, I was part of the Indian Classical Dance Society where I taught weekly classes which will definitely help me in this role where I will be teaching concepts I am very familiar with to beginners. I have previously tutored KS3 and KS4 students in mathematics, helping them achieve their target grades. I have been DBS checked, and whilst I was an A-Level student, I mentored GCSE students struggling with Mathematics. I have a strong passion for the subject and am keen to help others find their passion for the subject too!

I know that each child is different and therefore each child is different and requires a different teaching approach with some being audio learners, some visual and some kinesthetic. Being adaptable is crucial in ensuring that the student feels comfortable to ask questions when they do not understand something and so that you can explain something in many different ways if they are struggling to understand. Furthermore, my teaching method mostly involves the child learning through examples so that they can understand as they practice and improve their skills with that specific type of question. The key with mathematics is that once an idea has been covered or learned you must practice similar questions until you confidently can answer a similar question in the real exam.
