About Grant
I really enjoy seeing people improve their musical skills, get a better awareness of music and particularly have fun playing solo or with other people. As a musician I have enjoyed playing classical, jazz, rock, folk, reggae and country music. I am definitely not a specialist but have a wide range of repertoire.

I believe the first rule of music teaching is that it should be fun. Teaching to me is a two way dialogue and the student (particularly the older student) should be able to learn tunes and styles that interest them. My many HSC students have consistently achieved high band 5 and band 6 results. I have been a professional guitar and composition teacher for over 40 years and inn that time have taught young and old and have tried to adapt my teaching to personalise each lesson. I have taught quite a few students who have become professional musicians.
