About Evelyn

I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree in 2021 and am currently pursuing a Residency Doctor Program in the USA. With a solid foundation in medicine, I am poised to offer invaluable insights into effective academic practices, testing strategies, and organizational skills tailored to various areas of medicine and human biology. Additionally, I bring two years of dedicated tutoring experience, having successfully guided medical and nursing students through licensure exams, as well as helping Grade 12 students excel in their AP Biology courses.

As a tutor, I aim to make complex concepts clear and engaging for college students. I emphasize interactive, hands-on learning that keeps students involved and ensures they grasp the material. I tailor my approach to each student’s baseline knowledge, goals, and learning styles. Whether they benefit from visual aids or text-based resources, I adapt my methods accordingly. Interactive discussions and practical exercises are key components of my sessions. On top of that, I focus on nurturing a growth mindset in my students, highlighting resilience and a positive approach to challenges. This not only aids academic success but also prepares them for future scientific endeavors. My practical approach makes learning relevant and motivating.
