About Porsha

With a background in education and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential, I bring a personalized and student-centered approach to tutoring. Over the years, I have successfully guided numerous students through a wide range of subjects, from middle school mathematics to college-level science, ensuring they not only grasp the material but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I hold a strong belief that every student is capable of success with the right guidance, and I am committed to adapting my teaching methods to suit each individual’s learning style. My approach is rooted in patience, encouragement, and a deep understanding of educational principles, which allows me to break down complex concepts into manageable steps.

As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students achieve their academic goals but to inspire a lifelong love of learning. I provide a structured and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow from them. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular subject, or looking to excel beyond your current level, I am here to help you succeed.

My professionalism, dedication, and ability to connect with students of all ages set me apart. I am fully committed to helping you achieve your educational goals, and I look forward to partnering with you on your academic journey.

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to each student's learning style, pace, and goals. This may involve breaking down complex concepts into simpler parts, using visual aids, or relating the material to real-world applications.

I encourage active participation through discussions, problem-solving exercises, and questions. This helps students think critically and engage with the content rather than just passively absorbing information.

I introduce new concepts gradually, ensuring that each one builds on the previous. This scaffolding technique helps students grasp more challenging topics as they progress.

I provide regular feedback and conduct informal assessments to monitor progress. This allows for adjustments to the lesson plan as needed, ensuring that students stay on track and feel confident in their understanding.
