Teaching Method and Techniques:
As a tutor with a strong mathematics background, I emphasize breaking down complex concepts into simpler, digestible steps. I focus on helping students understand not just "how" to solve problems but also "why" certain methods work. I encourage active problem-solving by guiding students through examples and then challenging them with similar problems to solidify their understanding. My approach is rooted in logical reasoning and pattern recognition, helping students to apply mathematical concepts in various contexts.

Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson begins with reviewing the previous session to reinforce concepts. Then, I introduce new material, often linking it to familiar ideas to build confidence. I use a mix of hands-on practice, visual aids, and real-life applications to make abstract topics more relatable. For example, I might use a practical scenario like optimizing a route or budgeting to explain mathematical models. The lesson ends with independent exercises and a brief Q&A to address any remaining doubts.

What Sets Me Apart:
What sets me apart is my ability to relate mathematics to real-world applications. Having a degree in Applied Mathematics allows me to give students insights into how math is used in fields such as data science, finance, and technology. I also tailor my approach to individual learning styles, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, ensuring each student grasps the material in a way that works best for them.

Who the Lessons Are For:
My lessons cater to students at various levels, from high school to early college, particularly those pursuing STEM degrees. I specialize in subjects such as algebra, calculus, statistics, and introductory data analytics. Whether students are preparing for exams, struggling with specific topics, or looking to advance beyond their curriculum, I adjust my lessons based on their goals and current understanding.
