My background is in historical linguistics with a particular interest in stylistics, which delves into the specific ways language is used to create a particular effect or convey a certain meaning. This includes examining how authors choose words, construct sentences, and utilize rhetorical devices. In teaching you to write better, we will break down how you use the techniques and how you can change or refine them to write bolder, clearer, and more vivacious prose to persuade your readers.
