Overview:
My approach as a tutor begins by determining how familiar the person currently is with the material/topic of concern. In order for myself provide the most beneficial assistance, is determining the individual's learning style (even better if one knows their own).
For example, if one is a visual learner, physically drawing, writing, displaying, or demonstrating the information typically works best. Though, if the individual learns in a social/logical style, using flashcards (that one can physically grasp), "games", and creating acronyms/patterns are a few of the most beneficial strategies. Furthermore, I do try my best to not get too repetitive with tutoring sessions or lesson types to hopefully keep the individual entertained as well as interested as we work together to improve and grow each time we meet.
