About Megan
I have been tutoring since I was in my final year of middle school, and I am now a year out of college. So in total, I’ve tutored for about ten years. I’ve taught students as young as 4 years old and as old as adults in their mid-40s returning to school after a long period of time away. I also worked as a teacher at Kumon, where I taught all kinds of students how to read, write, and enhance their mathematics abilities. Because of this, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students of various backgrounds, including neurodivergent students and those with learning disabilities.

Lessons are personalized for each student. I offer basic introductory computer science and programming lessons. I am well versed in a number of programming languages, but will typically teach Java, Python, HTML and CSS in might introductory lessons. I will also help students to acquire a solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms from day 1 to prepare them to be better problem solvers. I also teach mathematics courses at the Algebra 2 level and lower, as well as Physics.
I am also available for homework assistance, SAT Prep, and ACT Prep.
