About Alex
Math has always been a subject I find both fascinating and rewarding, and I enjoy helping others experience the same sense of achievement when they grasp challenging concepts. Having recent experience in learning the new style of GCSE's and A levels, I believe it allows me to really understand how to help each individual student.
As a tutor, I have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys. I thrive on the one-on-one interaction that tutoring provides, allowing me to tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style and needs.

My approach to tutoring is personalised, student-focused strategies. I design lesson plans tailored to the student’s needs and learning style.
I use interactive techniques to engage students actively. This can include problem-solving activities, discussions, and hands-on exercises. The goal is to make learning dynamic and ensure the student is applying concepts in practical way.
A typical length of a lesson would be 1 hr which allows sufficient time to cover material thoroughly while maintaining the student’s attention and focus, however longer or shorter lessons are available to meet a students needs.
I have been tutoring for 3 years helping students achieve their required grade and making sure they are as best prepared as they can be.
My lessons are for students who need help with 11+, GCSE or A level maths
