My engineering and medical training has taught me to think with an analytical bent and to think "outside the box" ( as opposed to the "cookbook" approach to problem-solving).
I am a keen listener, able to hear and understand my students' needs and concerns.
Having learned that there is no such thing as "common knowledge", I have no preconceived notions (and therefore no prejudgments) about what you know or what you should know.
I can teach a wide variety of subjects: Math from basic to intro calculus; relational databases, computer software design, several computer languages (Basic, C++, C#, Javascript, Python); data presentation for business management - not to mention a variety of basic sciences (biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology)
