About Itor
No matter how good you think you are, the barriers to entry for new rappers are quite low, so the competition is fierce. Lots of guys can rap. Lots of guys look ghetto. Lots of guys talk smack. For you to be successful, you need to be better than absolutely all of them, including the ones who are currently recording. People need to just walk away when they see you coming up to the mic, because they know you’re the man. It takes that much to break through. Your chances are 1 in 1,000. They are like your chances of becoming a pro athlete. Unless people are already walking up to you with big wads of cash offering you gigs, you aren’t that good today. Sorry, but that’s how it is.
