About Kartik

I am a Master's student studying Computer Science at La Trobe university. I have worked for IT and Software firms for over 3 years and have mentored students while I was an Android developer and helped them during their internships.

About the lesson

The teaching consists of three-stage, easy to follow structure - theory, demonstration and practice.
While students familiar with computer science can get the most advantage out of the course, no prior programming or practical experience is required.

Following is the sample structure of the course:
1. What is a Database and what is it used for?
2. Basic knowledge and terminology.
3. Getting started with SQL.
4. More SQL.
5. Some advanced stuff.
6. Where to go from here?

I believe that with a interactive and open mind and a problem solving approach, learning this new skill can be easy and interesting.
