I am a very visual and hands-on teacher. I like to use analogies, diagrams, and visual aids for scientific studies. Students who need help in biology often need someone to break things down for them or show them a diagram. I also help students test prep by creating practice questions for them and showing them what to focus on.

Julia has been tutoring my 6th grade daughter and nephew this school year, and words can’t describe how incredible she has been in helping our kiddos. Their confidence in math and science have gone up, as well as their grades. Julia has a gift for explaining difficult concepts and for teaching organizational skills in the material sense, and in organizing their thoughts in their work. Julia has a passion for science and can really transfer that passion over to those she helps. I would highly recommend Julia for students of all ages and abilities.
