About Anik
I am a graduate student specializing in Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation. I have had the privilege of being involved in many research projects and am passionate about sharing my knowledge in the field of Biology. I have been teaching Biology classes and tutorials to university undergrads for over 5 years and have covered subjects ranging from introductory biology, vertebrate diversity, and behavioural ecology.

I began teaching Biology lessons in laboratory and tutorial settings and so I believe that hands-on, immersive lessons are most effective. I like to begin lessons with a general background on the subject at hand followed by an activity (e.g. experiment, simulation) or discussion (e.g. based on a paper or research questions). I typically follow activities and discussions with a short written assignment designed to summarize and ingrain the lesson.
