About Allan
I am a 2023 North Sydney Boys graduate (Rank 1 School) currently studying a Bachelor of Computer Science with a minor in Finance at UNSW, looking to take on some new students for private tutoring. A virtue I'm proud of is my patience when it comes to teaching. I believe every student is inherently smart but just needs some guidance to activate their potential. I used to be a student who struggled in mathematics but once I stopped seeing it as a chore, I truly enjoyed the subject and I'm hoping to help my students see that as well.

UNSW CompSci ATAR: 97.85 2 years tutoring experience NSBHS 2023 Graduate Specialist in Mathematics
I am looking to take on new students for 1 on 1 tutoring or group either online or in person (depending on distance) for all levels of Maths.
Lessons will be 2 hrs. I believe 1 hour is for teaching the concept and all the ins and outs. The other hour is for practicing the concept. Practice is what makes perfect in mathematics.
Here’s a summary of my results and experience:
• 95 for Math Advanced
• 93 for Math Extension (External)
⁃ Extensive knowledge of the current HSC syllabus for all subjects, with access to a wide range of resources including past papers, question banks, and notes.
⁃ 2 years experience as a tutor and have worked with high school students from every year.
- Currently teaching year 10 and 11 math advanced students.
