About Sylvia
I believe in the future of education and I am inspired by new communicate resources and the ability to share knowledge on platforms like this. In film school, I concentrated in directing because I am most interested in uplifting others by sharing my skillset in order to help people share their own stories in various ways. Teaching english is just one of the ways I get to explore my passions through a new lens that I hope to share with you.

After getting to know the student’s needs, I’m able to carefully curate my lessons plans and make changes accordingly while building a trusted dynamic that creates a memorable learning experience.
My film school degree taught valuable organization skills that allow me to structure courses with various methods of teaching, and determine a style that best fits each student. Going to college during the pandemic also gave me the tools to efficiently communicate online, and utilize different digital mediums.
