About Emily
I understand what it is like to not understand something. I understand that it is extremely frustrating. My goal as a tutor is to not make a student feel any different or less smarter than the kids in their class. As being a student who graduated this year from high school in Class of 2023, I am also familiar to new concepts and modern day teaching methods such as online techniques.

I’ve mainly worked with special education children, making me extremely patient and able to develop many different teaching approaches. I focus on explaining why concepts are the way they are rather than having them memorize terms. I’ve earned an A in all my math classes including AP Calculus, Honors: Algebra II/Trig, Geometry, and Algebra.
