About Shahzad

Hi, I’m Shahzad, a passionate coder and educator with a Bachelor’s degree in IT and experience as a software engineer and now pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science. I’ve worked on real-world projects and have also taught coding to primary and secondary school students, which made me realise how much I love helping others learn and grow in this field. I want to teach coding because I know how powerful it is—it’s not just about writing code, but about problem-solving, creativity, and turning ideas into reality. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, I want to make coding fun, engaging, and accessible for you. My goal is to help you build confidence, develop real-world coding skills, and maybe even inspire you to create something amazing! If you’ve ever wanted to learn coding but didn’t know where to start, I’d love to guide you on this journey. Let’s learn and build together!

My approach focuses on: • Project-Based Learning – Instead of just theory, I guide students through real-world projects, making coding feel practical and fun. • Step-by-Step Guidance – I break down complex topics into simple, digestible parts, ensuring students understand the “why” behind the code. • Interactive & Supportive Environment – I encourage questions, problem-solving, and creativity, helping students gain confidence in their coding skills. • Personalised Lessons – I adapt my teaching based on the student’s level, goals, and interests, whether it’s building apps, websites, or mastering algorithms. Lesson Details: •Typical length: 1 hour per session (flexible based on needs). •Format: Online or in-person (if local). •Structure: Short theory introduction → Hands-on coding exercises → Mini-projects & real-world applications. My Qualifications & Experience I have a Bachelor’s degree in IT and experience as a software engineer, working on real-world coding projects. I’ve also taught coding to both primary and secondary school students, making me skilled at breaking down concepts for different age groups. My mix of industry and teaching experience ensures students get practical, up-to-date knowledge. Who Can Join? • Beginners (kids, teens, or adults) wanting to learn coding from scratch. • Students looking to strengthen their programming skills for school or university. • Aspiring developers who want to work on real projects and build a portfolio. If you’re interested in learning to code in a way that’s fun, practical, and easy to understand, I’d love to help! Let’s start your coding journey together.
